COLORoW Druid Hill Canopy Crosswalk
COLORoW is a coloring book-like tool for drawing your own artistic crosswalk or pavement mural. What inspires you? Draw it and we will Make Place Happen!
The Druid Hill Canopy Crosswalk will celebrate Druid Hill Park while improving street-crossing safety for pedestrians using the Fulton Avenue crosswalk. The sidewalk and crosswalk art will feature a colorful, leaf-inspired design. Community members are invited to contribute their favorite tree leaves in Druid Hill Park to serve as artwork inspiration.
What are your favorite trees in Druid Hill Park? You can draw example leaves here, write down the tree name, or simply attach a photo. Be creative with the colors and have fun! Using the resident input local public artist Graham Coreil-Allen will develop a crosswalk art design to be created with community members later this summer.
Click on the ‘Submit Your Artwork’ button to upload your drawing and images that inspire you and/or share your ideas as a written response.
The deadline for sharing your drawings and ideas is Friday, March 19th, 2021.
